We will not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. Your personal data will therefore be kept for the following periods (or, where there is no fixed period, the following factors will be used to determine how long it is kept):

If you contact us using the website contact form but do not start lessons with us, the information that you submit via the contact form will be retained for a period of up to one year after you contact us.

Where we send your data

We may store or transfer some or all of your personal data in countries that are not part of the European Economic Area (the “EEA” consists of all EU member states, plus Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein). These are known as “third countries” and may not have data protection laws that are as strong as those in the UK and/or the EEA. We will do what we reasonably can to ensure that your personal data is treated as safely and securely as it would be within the UK and under the GDPR.

This website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.  Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  For more information please refer to the Wix.com Privacy Policy (About Privacy | WIX), and in particular to Section 6 of that policy, 6. Users-of-users' 'Personal Information'.

We will not share your personal data with third parties other than Wix.com and its affiliates and subsidiaries for any purposes, subject to two important exceptions.

  • In some limited circumstances, we may be legally required to share certain personal data, which might include yours, if we are involved in legal proceedings or complying with legal obligations, a court order, or the instructions of a government authority.

  • Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

How we secure your data

We do our best to keep your Personal Data safe.  We use safe protocols for communication and transferring data (such as HTTPS). We use anonymising and pseudonymising where suitable. We monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks.

Regardless of the measures and efforts we take, we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute protection and security of your information.  We encourage you to keep your usernames and passwords secret, to set strong passwords, and to avoid providing us or anyone with any sensitive personal information the disclosure of which you believe might cause you substantial or irreparable harm.
